Anne Elliott Hodges-Copple was officiant at the ordination which was held in the beautiful Phillips Chapel at Canterbury School in Greensboro.

It SNOWed # 2 - No Services Tomorrow

The Vestry just issued the following document pertaining to services tomorrow morning, January 8th.

While the parking lot is plowed and well used streets appear to be clear, we need to remember that the temperature tomorrow morning will be in the single digits.  We will have black ice everywhere so will not ask you to get out tomorrow for church.

It Snowed!

It snowed last night.  Don't believe it?  Just look out your window.

The parking lot has been scraped.  The sidewalks are scraped but potentially a bit icy.  Now the question is -- to church or not to church?

An announcement will be made later today or this evening about whether St. Matthews will observe Eucharist tomorrow morning.  I will attempt to put an entry on this blog as soon as I get information about whether or not a service will be held.
